Convenience
You don't drive your vehicle to a terminal, find a ride home, repeat the process on the delivery end and pay terminal storage fees.
Less handling
Each time a vehicle is loaded or unloaded is a small risk. Door-to-door means just one pickup load and one delivery unload.
Direct accountability
The same driver loads, transports and delivers — so the chain of custody is short and clear.
Practical limitations
Some streets are too narrow, low or tight for a 75-foot car carrier. In those cases the driver meets you at the nearest practical location — usually a wide retail parking lot a few minutes away.
When terminal transport still makes sense
Long unattended storage between pickup and delivery, certain dealer-to-dealer wholesale flows or extreme rural areas with no carrier access.
